Bloom

Painting is very much an emotional experience for me.  Time stands still.  Being the all or nothing person that I am, once the palette knife touches the canvas, I don’t stop painting until the piece is finished. I enjoy taking photos of the painting process.  It is fascinating to look back and see how it all came to be.

It is Fall and Fall makes me dream of sunflowers…

I rarely use paint brushes… I use a palette knife 90% of the time.

Adding color!

There is nothing better than thick layers of paint!

The second sunflower begins to take form…

And she is complete!

Tending to my soul sets the tone for my entire day and a beautiful day it was…
